GSUN Welcomes Seoul National Univ to Council

Seoul National University Becomes GSUN’s Newest Leadership Council Member

We are delighted to welcome Seoul National University to the GSUN Leadership Council! Founded in 1946, SNU is one of Asia’s top universities, ranked in the top 50 in the QS World University Rankings. The University comprises 16 Colleges and 12 Graduate Schools, located across four campuses.

Through the Department of Physical Education, SNU offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across all areas of sport, wellness and exercise related subjects. This includes a master’s programme designed for students from developing countries, offered free of charge.

With 17 research laboratories and 300 graduate students, SNU ranks 21st in the QS World Rankings for sport-related subjects. The University has also hosted an annual Global Sport Science Conference for many years.

SNU has strong partnerships with many Korean and international sports organisations, such as the Korean Sport Promotion Foundation and the Asian Paralympic Committee. Faculty provide strong leadership in sport, both regionally and internationally.
