GSUN is a collective of universities from around the world that aggregates sport-related research and expertise from every discipline. We harness that knowledge to both analyze sport itself and harness the enormous potential of sport to address timely, complex problems in human performance, product engineering and innovation, exercise and wellness, inclusion, and other societal issues surrounding sport.

Congress members are academics at the institutional level. All staff at that institution have access to benefits and the institution receives 2 complimentary summit registrations.
Associate members are individual members from academic and non-academic institutions. This level is included with summit registration.

GSUN governance indicates that there can be up to 14 council members representing diverse areas of the world. Membership is by application following invitation from the council. Feel free to express interest to council executives or through the contact form on the website.
