Congress Member Institutions

Eligibility Criteria

The GSUN Congress is made up of academic institutions from across the world (with special attention to representation from the global south) which meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Delivering a comprehensive portfolio of sport, wellness and exercise related teaching (degree courses and similar);

  • Delivering a comprehensive range of research and innovation activities resulting in sustained and substantive local, regional and international impact;

  • Partnering with high-profile sports organizations and other relevant third parties to deliver positive change;

  • Providing leadership on sport-related matters (e.g., policy and standards setting) regionally, nationally or globally.
