GSUN '25 Summit Announces Plenary Session Speakers
With less than six weeks to go, the GSUN '25 Summit — taking place on September 11–12, 2025 at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia — is honored to announce it’s plenary session speakers.
The 2025 Summit program will include 15 panels, three spotlight sessions and two engaging plenary sessions to kick-off each day of activities. On Day 1, Mark Arbib, Matti Clements, Fin Kirwan, and Doug Ferguson, will join moderator and sports broadcaster Tracey Holmes in a Plenary Session entitled Game On! How Sports, Universities, Government, and Industry can Team Up to Build a Winning Future.
On Day 2, Dr. Bridie O’Donnell, Tracy Stockwell OAM, John Eales AM, Mel Marshall MBE, Dr. Bridie Kean, will speak on the topic of Championing Change: How Athletes can Drive Impact in Society. That session will also be moderated by Tracey Holmes.

University of Oregon’s Mike Hahn met with GSUN colleagues at Waseda University in April, in a trip that included delivering a keynote address at a conference at the University of Tsukuba and attending the Tokyo Marathon alongside officials of Japan Athletics and World Athletics.
